Universal Law is absolute – Even more so than the so called Law of Gravity. These are the laws that govern our life in a very real sense. If you doubt my comment about Gravity just look at a bumblebee. Those things defy logic! Universal Laws have a strong impact on the quality of our lives. If we use them intelligently it can make life much easier for us. All laws are subsets of The Law of Cause and Effect and are really only descriptions of aspects. This is why many are so similar.
The Universal Laws below are the basics of our reality. There are others but they are of less importance to us and besides, I have not worked out how to use them fully – YET!.
- Law of Cause and Effect – For every cause there is an effect.
- Law of Abundance – There can be no shortage – the universal energy is infinite
- Law of Attraction – Like attracts like
- Law of Correspondence – As above Esoterica so below
- Law of Momentum – There can be no change without movement
What does Universal mean? I see the Universal to mean All Pervasive, Everywhere and Applicable to All Situations.
This is the old time meaning of the word.
What are the Universal Laws?
There is often a blurring between the Universal Laws – particularly when you are dealing with the The Law of Cause and Effect.
At the end of the day, it all boils down to Attitude. Attitude leads mindset and mindset defines just what we are capable of achieving. Our Attitude is about the only thing we have any real control over.
To succeed we must know and understand the Universal Laws and the Hierarchy of Needs so we do not trip over our own feet, BUT the real key is our ATTITUDE.
Universal Laws are not fluffy and all new age.
Take them seriously as they have a strong impact on the quality of our lives. If we use them intelligently it can make life much easier for us.
Think of lifting a heavy weight up a couple of floors – hard work. BUT if we have a counter weight on the other side of a pulley, most of the work is done for us. The universal law we are working here is gravity which is the physical expression of the Law of Attraction.
The Law of Cause and Effect
The Law of Cause and Effect is even more important. If we want to achieve some life goal, we need to work with it. In simple language, we need to get out of our own way and not sabotage our efforts.
Cause and Effect is better known as the law defined by Isaac Newton that “For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction“. This is definitely true of physics. Less known are its effects at the mental, emotional and spiritual levels.
The Law of Abundance
The Law of Abundance states that “There can be no shortage – the universal energy is infinite“. Life is not a zero sum game. Just because someone else has success, it does not mean that the stocks of success are all used up – NO WAY! There is enough for all.
The Law of Attraction
The Law of Attraction states that “Like attracts Like“. Put simply, the universe is made of energy and like energy attracts. This law is effective at physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. Forget the light fluffy approach taken by those who do not understand.
The Law of Correspondence
“As above, So below” is the definition for the Law of Correspondence. From a non esoteric viewpoint, this law is most effective when considering your attitude toward a desired goal. If your emotional and mental attitude toward the goal are positive, it will assist the goal to manifest in the physical material level of life.
The Law of Momentum
The Law of Momentum states that “There can be no change without movement“. This means that nothing new will happen unless there is energy added. To make anything happen, we must put forward some effort. When considering this law think “Work smart not hard“
Work Smart – Not hard
The example above of lifting a heavy weight up a couple of floors of a building is a classic as it uses a bit of clear thinking and the effects of multiple laws.
- Cause and Effect – We desire the weight to be moved, so we set things in motion to make it so
- Attraction – We use a heavy counterweight to balance our load
- Momentum – The weights will not move until we grab hold and supply the extra energy by pulling on the rope
We could of course just pick up the weight and muscle it up the stairs. This is the hard and obvious way to do it.
