Conscious Living

is about using

Knowledge

Mindfulness

and

Awareness

to make your life work

Where to Start

The goal of Conscious Living is to  provide some of the knowledge that will help make your life work.

As a planet load of people, we are undergoing a series of rapid changes of spiritual, environmental, geographic and cultural aspects. These will continue at an accelerated rate.

My goal here is to present useful information in a fairly down to earth, pragmatic way. Much new knowledge is now available which is going to be strange enough to process without me adding a load of butterflies.

I have grouped the articles into 6 categories and added a library of classic wealth creation books. Do not take these lightly – wealth is important for a happy and fulfilled life and these systems work!

Our Topics are:

We do not ask you to agree with everything, just think about it. Some of the content may push a few buttons, but that is good if you think about why it affects you that way. You may well come to an understanding later. For the moment, read and enjoy.

Transition Between Religion and Spirituality

Religion is a starting point on the path of spiritual development
You are never asked or expected to leave behind your faith, no matter what it be. It is your starting point. Why would your God ever ask that you turn your back on his or her way? The most important function of any religion is to provide a code of behaviour and the understanding that we are loved and protected by God so that we may grow in the understanding of his (or her) wishes.

Mind Games

We are all familiar with the fact that people play games – often cruel games – with each other. The most common games are related to the sharing and stealing of life energy – everybody knows a vampire – someone who just flat out drains you. The games take the form of dominance manipulation. The basis is old psychology. Nothing new here. It has been written about many times with a twist to make it appear new.
Conscious Living will enable you to spot the game well before you succumb.

Life is Like a Fish Trap

What a statement! How can life be like a fish trap?
The thing is that when a fish swims into the trap it is his very nature that keeps him trapped. He wants to get out – but – looks to the edges of the trap furthest from the centre to exit, and of course, there are no holes there.
Is a fish stupid? Not necessarily – they have been around for longer than we have.
The result is that the fish perpetually swims around the edges of the trap seeking an exit.

The Loop System

Loop time relates to a property of time and space used by our teachers and guides to provide a method of learning without wasting linear time. We learn best by repetition. I call this the Loop system, we get to try, try and try again until we get it right. For most, Linear time is a limited resource, there are only 24 hours in a day and 60 minutes in an hour.
Belief can open the consciousness to all sorts of new experiences, and make all sorts of things invisible if they cannot exist.

This Reality

In this Reality, to truly succeed we need to know the rules of the game and the lay of the land. A short list of components contains Frequency, Time, Size, Parallel Existences and Phases – an infinity of infinities. Imagine trying to play a game of cards when we do not know the meaning or function of part of the pack. Same story – we may not have an immediate use for some cards, but it is nice to know what they can do. Just occasionally life gives you an opportunity to trump the deck.

Parallel Existences

We are here to experience as many possibilities as can be. In response the universe has provided Parallel Existences where this can be so.
It is my understanding that parallel existences are created around key events. This will enable us to experience all opportunities – Life with this person, life with that person, I take this career choice, I try another career choice.

Spiritual Growth

Spiritual Growth is one of the primal drives of mankind. Deep down everyone wants life to be better, to have more understanding and control of their personal environment. The reason is irrelevant – it may be altruism or greed – but a little more money, better health, better relationships definitely would not go astray. Happiness shows that the smiler has cleared the connection with their divine aspect or higher self. When in this state a person may achieve just about anything they desire.

Self Actualisation

I believe that Self Actualisation is one of the primal goals of life, whether that be mankind or indeed any other form of life. We are all on the treadmill of self development. It may be defined as the desire to become more and more what one is, to become everything that one is capable of becoming. Mankind is a funny creature, we are compulsive achievers – even if we see nothing to do. Achievement leads to contentment, but there is always more to do – this is a constant source of discontent.

Personal Kaizen

Kaizen is a philosophy of continuous improvement. Created in post World War II Japan to assist the country back on its feet after being devastated during WWII and being the test population for the atomic bomb. It involves a very oriental philosophy of incremental change. To observe and improve are the two main components. This fits very neatly with the process of conscious living.
A series of small changes is manageable – but very profound when viewed over a longer term.

Law of Correspondence

Law of Correspondence states “As above, So below” and “As within, so without”. This law is most effective when considering your attitude toward a desired goal. If your emotional and mental attitude toward the goal are positive, it will assist the goal to manifest in the physical material level of life.
This law was created with the different levels of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual in mind. It is the basis for the science of Reflexology.

The Water Crisis

The Water Crisis is REAL. Water crisis or water scarcity? As part of the planetary weather changes, fresh water is at risk. This need not be. The supermarket is the pantry and water comes from a tap. Meat was created wrapped in a plastic container. For whatever reason most folk simply expect their services. Common sense and nature awareness play no part here.

The Energy Crisis

The so-called energy crisis is mainly hype and FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Distrust). Much of this is being created by the energy companies as an excuse to increase their prices. The carbon taxes are simply an excuse by the various governments to extort more funds. After the coming economic collapse, we can start again with the cleaner and cheaper options. The price of electricity and fuel will continue to increase. It becomes important now to understand the rules, to be very observant and aware.

The Vegan Solution

This one is going to push a few buttons – so – here we go.A diet heavy in animal protein is expensive to produce in terms of money, land and water. Likely it has very expensive karma as well.Forget for the moment any ethical component and look only at a simple distribution exercise. The amount of grain currently produced on the planet will feed the human population easily, but much is destroyed or allowed to rot for economics sake.A rethink is needed – badly.

The Root of the Change

We are now in a period of growth and social change combined with weather change and geological upheaval. It is difficult to see the big picture. It has all happened before and “this too shall pass”. It will be a bit interesting to live through though. We do need to work out what is coming so we can manage its effects. At the threshold of each change there is a period of upset. The entrance of the new will cause upset in all systems thus the saying that it is always darkest before the dawn.

The New Paradigm

The New Paradigm All things change – so we must change to keep up. As mentioned in “The Perfect Storm” we have changes underway that involve the spiritual aspect, economic situation, climate and the geology of the planet – all at once. With this happening, we need to constantly adjust to a very fluid situation.Conscious Living is about the only way I can see that will give us a chance of keeping up.This leads me to the New Paradigm – a new way of thinking

Karma

The Law of Karma has many definitions. My version is very different – yet amazingly similar. Karma is the difference between where we are and where we need to be.The payback version seems to be the most common. It is defined by many as “as ye sow so shall ye reap” or “what goes around, comes around“. The universe is not vengeful – parts maybe, but not overall. Its main agenda is development of its component pieces. I see karma as assisting the learning process through providing experience.

Law of Momentum

The Law of Momentum is possibly the simplest yet hardest of the Universal Laws. It states that “There can be no change without movement“. Simply put, if you want a change to occur, you must push for it. In any case you must exert some effort to make change, if you do nothing, nothing will change. Another way of looking at Law of Momentum is the old saying that
“The definition of insanity is to do the same thing repeatedly and expect a different outcome”

The Library

These books are classics. They are best of class for manifesting money and lifestyle and have helped many people. Their systems are simple and purposeful, but the thing is – they work. If you seek financial security, then read them as many times as time allows and take action.

The Emerald Tablets form the root of Hermeticism, an esoteric tradition based upon the works of Hermes Trismegistus (“thrice-greatest Hermes”).
